“No, i don’t believe we have. But what better way to meet some one than a exciting way.” She said grinning. She shook Sydneys hand. “I’m Tori.”
Sydney grinned even wider this time. “Hi, Tori. So, if you don’t mind me asking, what power do you have that made you end up here?” Sydney was extremely curious about the girl; she seemed so mysterious, and all she really wanted to do was decode this girl.
Tori slowly walked towards the master cabin. She was kind of disapointed in herself for only meeting 2 people. But she was glad she met them. Tori slumped down in the couch she just sat and thought. She had this power. And he never really know what to do with it. She made a loud startled noise whe some one sat next to her. “Jesus, you scared me.” She said ruffling hair closest to her head.
Sydney sauntered into the main cabin, exhausted from all of last night’s activities and extremely hungry. She opened the door and headed to the kitchen, grabbing some coco puffs before looking around the main cabin for any unfamiliar faces. She spotted someone she hadn’t met before, a girl completely concentrated on her thoughts. Sydney thought it’d be fun to scare her a bit, and had a devilish grin on her face as she tip-toed quietly over to the girl and sat down next to her, unaware that Sydney had been there. The girl made a loud, startled noise when she noticed her, and Sydney laughed at her reaction. “Jesus, you scared me.” the girl said, ruffling the hair closest to her head. Once Sydney had been reduced to only the occasional giggle, she introduced herself to the stranger. “Sorry for that, but I couldn’t resist scaring you. I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Sydney. You are?” taking one off the cereal bowl and for the girl to shake, offering the stranger a smile.
“Oh, yes” the girl said, faking a surprised face. “But how did you guess?” Jessie added, putting a hand on her face as if she was really ashamed that she got caught. Then she sat down next to Sydney, crossing her legs. “So, what can we do for fun around here?”
“Oh, yes.” Jessie said, faking a surprised face. “But how did you guess?” Jessie added, pretending to look embarrassed as she sat down to Sydney, crossing her legs. “So, what can we do for fun around here?” Sydney couldn’t help but smile her; She liked Jessie’s sarcastic, witty sense of humor. “Your false enthusiasm almost fooled me,” grinning like a fool as she said it. She quickly took her cigarette out of her mouth and put it out. In response to Jessie’s question, she sighed and leaned on her hands. “I don’t know, really. Anything you want to, I guess. Wanna take a jump into the waterfall?” Sydney grinned.
”The last time I checked it was common ground” smirked the the girl to Sydney. ”I was just chillin’ the woods are very calm today. But what are you doin’ here? I thought everyone was in the main cabin, sucking each other’s faces off.” Jess added, making a funny face to point out that she wasn’t that comfortable around so many couples.
“You know what I mean.” Sydney rolled her eyes, putting her hands on your hips. “Next time you want to say hi to me, don’t give me a heart attack,” Sydney joked. “I was just chillin’. The woods are very calm today. But what are you doin’ here? I thought everyone was in the main cabin, sucking each other’s faces off,” Jess added to her statement, making a face that suggested she hated being around all the couples. Sydney understood how she felt. “Same thing as you; to get away from all of the lovebirds.” Sydney frowned. “So, Jessie, why’d you decide to sneak up on me like that Are you stalking me?” Sydney said in a joking voice.
Danny smiled as Sydney reeled off a name that wasn’t his.. ‘Chase..’ He sighed looking towards the ceiling, as if looking into his memories.. ‘I Don’t think i’ve met him..’ Danny sighed. ‘I’m sure he’s a great guy and i’m sure he’ll like you as well, who wouldn’t’ He smiled. Damn, why’d he say that..he looked back into her eyes and sighed as he saw her looking back. He didn’t want this, he wanted Jade. He didn’t care if him and Sydney had a connection..It’s Jade who he wants, Danny told himself. He took in a deep breath and growled as the whole room went dark. ‘Will you stop doing that!’ He growled, Danny had been in this place for a year but still he had no control over his power. He released his breath and the room came back into daylight. ‘Sorry’ He shouted to the people stood in the main cabin. ‘I’m fine.’ He told her again sighing slightly.
“Chase…” Danny sighed, looking towards the ceiling, as if he was looking into his memories. “I don’t think I’ve met him.” He sighed. “I’m sure he’s a great guy and he’ll like you as well, who wouldn’t?” Sydney blushed and bit her lip at the compliment, smiling lopsidedly at him. “I’m Jade likes you too,” giving him a playful punch and a wink. He looked into her eyes, and Sydney couldn’t help but look back into them. Sydney was mesmerized by him. She shook the feeling off. I don’t like him. I can’t like him. He likes Jade, right?, she thought. She tried her hardest to shake off the thoughts. Danny took a deep breath and growled, the whole room suddenly turning pitch-black. Sydney widened her eyes. “Will you stop doing that?!” he growled. Danny released his breath and the room came back into daylight, apologizing to everyone in the main cabin. Before Sydney could ask, Danny said, “I’m fine.” sighing. Sydney simply gave him a sympathetic smile and patted him on the back. “It’s alright. It used to happen to me all the time. Whenever I got mad, I ended up accidentally melting things.” Sydney laughed in an attempt to cheer Danny up.
“Wow, really?” All it took was a look into his bright blue eyes to see how excited he was to hear that. He’d never met anyone else with abilities. Let alone with abilities just like him. “I guess I’ll have to meet them soon.”
“Yeah. So, got into any trouble with that power? I burned off a man’s glasses with mine… Still feel guilty about that.” Sydney chuckled.
“Me too,” he said, smiling softly at her. “Mine is Water Manipulation. I think Hydrokinesis is the technical term.”
“That’s pretty cool. There’s someone else here who has the same power as you, I think.”
“Light Manipulation? Sounds pretty cool. And yeah, I just got here like a day ago or so.”
“Thanks. What’s your power, if you don’t mind me asking? Wow, I hope you like it here as much as I do soon.”
“Oh, I guess I caught the sight of some government guys. They convinced me to come here, so here I am. What about you?”
“Turns out I can manipulate light, and then I was brought here. Are you new here?”
